What are the details of our Saddle Pad?
Our premium half pads are crafted from 100% untreated Merino lambswool, free from harmful chemicals. The sheepskin promotes muscle relaxation and enhances blood circulation, all while ensuring a soft and comfortable connection with the horse. These pads offer excellent breathability, and the Merino fibers have the remarkable ability to absorb and retain 50 times their weight in moisture, ensuring the horse stays cool in the summer and warm during the winter.

Information and Care:
- To clean, remove hair, dirt, and dried sweat with a stiff brush.
- Generously apply human hair conditioner (preferably for dry hair) over the lambswool areas.
- Machine wash at 30°C on a cool/wool cycle or choose to hand wash.
- Use non-bio powder or liquid for washing.
- After washing, straighten and flatten the cotton fabric.
- Air dry the pad near a heat source, never tumble dry.
- Avoid using strong fabric conditioners.
- Note: In rare cases, dye from black wool items may react with sweat and stain grey coats.

Conversely, a weekend warrior could potentially extend the pad’s life up to two or three years.

Once washed, the pad should be allowed to hang dry, usually it will take 24 hours to dry.
